Based in Church Stretton, travel artist and garden designer, Mike loves to explore and record his adventures ‘Plein Air’ whilst travelling in a campervan with partner & model Jayne!
In 2022 Mike & Jayne spent an inspirational 7000-mile road trip through France, Spain and Portugal.
‘Coast and Mountains’ - Painting every day on the journey he wants everyone to enjoy and experience their journey through his art.
With his distinctive and quirky style using pen and watercolour, Mike captures moments with people and places along the journey with his partner Jayne.
Growing up in the wild borders between Shropshire and Wales has been an influence and inspiration throughout his life. Mike studied in art and design in Shrewsbury and Oxford.
“From an early age I’ve always enjoyed drawing, which led me to train in art. Initially, an Art Foundation at Shrewsbury College and then onto Oxford Brookes University. With a love of Horticulture and nature I then went on to train as a Garden Designer as Pershore College with the school of Garden Design. I achieved many awards including the coveted RHS Gold Award for a Show Garden”
